ABOUT OUR FOOTBALL PROGRAM

The HF Youth Football program is an instructional level program. All children 6 through 14 years old are eligible to participate. (Those who are 14 must be in 8th grade or under during the 2022 - 2023 school year, no high school students allowed). **There are no tryouts, any child that wishes to participate is able to do so.

The program is based on the following guiding principals:

  • Safety First and foremost we want our players to be safe and learn the importance of being safe while tackling and during various different plays.
  • Sportsmanship Regardless of the outcome, it's important for the players to understand that winning isn't about a trophy but about the lessons learned and the strive to continue to do your best.
  • Full Participation Players are taught the importance of teamwork and being apart of a team. "A team is only as strong as its weakest link". When one person doesn't pull their weight, it's reflected in performance and the team dynamics.

SPRING SEASON BEGINS: March - June
FALL SEASON BEGINS: July - December
