The Homewood Flossmoor Youth Football and Cheer Club is an instructional level program. All children 6 through 14 years old are eligible to participate. (Those who are 14 must be in 8th grade or under during the 2023 - 2024 school year, no high school students allowed). 

**There are no tryouts, any child that wishes to participate is able to do so. 

The program is based on the following guiding principals:

Safety: First and foremost we want our players to be safe and learn the importance of being safe while tackling and during various different plays.

Sportsmanship: Regardless of the outcome, it's important for the players to understand that winning isn't about a trophy but about the lessons learned and the strive to continue to do your best.

Full Participation: Players are taught the importance of teamwork and being apart of a team. "A team is only as strong as its weakest link". When one person doesn't pull their weight, it's reflected in performance and the team dynamics.


Based on registration and league opportunities, the Directors of Football and Cheer will determine which system and teams will be needed for the 2023 season.
